Years at Toyota

Retired & Began
Susan spent 27 years at Toyota — one of the world's most demanding, high-performing organizations. She led in rooms where results were measured to the decimal point and value was visible in the metrics you owned.
Susan is a certified life coach and mind-body practitioner (200hr RYT). She brings the precision of a lean strategist and the presence of a mindfulness and body-informed practice to everything she creates.
She retired on August 2, 2024, ready for something different. Less than a year later she published her first book. The second, a guided journal for women like her, is underway. Neither was in the plan. Both were exactly right.
SL Collective exists for the high-performing woman who has given everything to her career and is now learning — slowly, imperfectly, honestly — to give that same energy to herself. You are not done. You are just beginning.
Susan Lee spent 27 years at Toyota before retiring in 2024 to pursue what she'd always said someday to. She is a certified life coach, a mindfulness and body-informed practitioner, and the author of two books — including her debut, Beyond the Paper, and her forthcoming guided journal, She's Not Done Yet, for women rewriting what comes after corporate.
In the months that followed retirement, she discovered what so many high-performing women discover: that no one prepares you for who you are after the title is gone. SL Collective — and the books, journals, and coaching that live here — is her answer to that gap. Not as a finished expert, but as a woman walking the path right now, one honest chapter at a time.
